The National Association for Gifted Children is an advocacy
group promoting gifted education. There are several legislative
initiatives regarding funding for gifted education. Check out www.nagc.org
for more information. demonstration grants; and (3) grants to states or districts to conduct statewide
activities.
Helping Children Understand the Events of September
11th
"Helping Children Understand the Terrorist Attacks" is a new webpage
that suggests ways adults can talk with children about the attacks. The
webpage also offers suggestions for educators, as well as links to
additional resources that may be helpful to parents, teachers, & other
