Hello Tom, great to see your interest in Alpines, you can check mine out at sunbeamalpine.org feature of the month for November 99. If you find one and the motor and running gear are gone don't be afraid to swap in some other means of propulsion other tha the stock four-banger. There are some good V-6 's with or without modern electronics and fuel injection. The newer power plants make them very driveable, but if your car is original keep it that way. Great to have you on board. Brian

Hi: I know just how you feel about Sunbeams. I had a 1960 Sunbeam Rapier that I bought in 1960 in England and brought to the states with me. I sold it years ago. I purchased a 1966 Sunbeam Tiger (B382000704 BRG) last month and am currently waiting for ags. My Tiger is un-restored and in excellent condition, needing only a few cosmetic updates such as: new windshield rubber,carpets and a re-chromed front bumper. I do hope that you find your car soon.

Hi Tom - Hang in there, the right car will turn up - I bought one earlier this year (I had to sell my mini cooper)& I am loving every minute of the restoration - The sunbeam joins my two Alfa's & I think compliments them nicely - Marcus
