Procedures for Joining Phi Theta Kappa

If you are part of an academic program on the Parham Road or Western Campus you will be joining the Alpha Iota Beta chapter of Phi Theta Kappa. In order for your membership to be processed promptly, please follow these procedures:

Fill out the attached membership application. Be sure to sign your application.
Pay your registrations fees to the college Business Office in Building B Room 204. Specify that you are paying to join the Alpha Iota Beta Chapter. You will receive a receipt at the time you pay. Please retain this for your records.
Return the application to Paul Canton, Building A Room 201 F. Place your materials in a sealed envelope and drop in the box on the outside of the office door. Do not put any money or checks in with the application (pay fees as described above).
The deadline for submission of all materials received and fees paid is 5:00 p.m., Friday, October 4, 2002. Please submit your application and pay the dues prompfiy to ensure the paperwork is processed in a timely manner.

Applications will be processed the week of October 7, 2002 and invitations to the induction mailed as soon as possible thereafter. The Induction is scheduled for Saturday, October 26, 2002. If you have not received an invitation by Friday, October 11, please e-mail Vilma Seymour at [email protected] or you may call her at 746-7711 before 9pm.
