DownLoad & Installation Instructions
-------------------------------------
The following procedure is to be followed to see the Marathi script properly on your system. The language files are being sent as a text file and not as a graphic file. Hence, to view these files properly on the browser, it is essential that the language fonts are added to your computer.

Please note-- You have to install the fonts on your system. Please follow the standard installation procedure in windows for installing the fonts.

SHELL account holders will not be able to view Pune Darshan while they are online. However, they can download the .HTM files on their system and later on view them in a suitable Web Browser. If any of you face a problem in this, please let us know.

The supplied fonts are TTF type. Just install them on your system. After you download the font, install the same in your windows system through Control Panel.

Please note that the first few pages of the web site are in ENGLISH as most of the newcomers are not likely to have the fonts installed at the first go. After you install the fonts, please proceed to the further pages on the site.

Using the font in Web Browsers.

Netscape 3.0 users. :
-----------------------
Select Options, select General Preferences, then Fonts. Next, select the "For the Encoding" as User Defined. Select Proportional Font and set it to font DV-TT Surekh. This is a one time job. Save these settings and come back to the main Browser screen. You will see the changed font being displayed.

Whenever you want to change the font scheme, just select Options, and then Document Encoding, where you can select "user defined". That's all! So go ahead and enjoy.

Other Browsers.:
----------------
Almost all Web Browsers have a setting for changing the proportional fonts, temporarily. Generally this is in the OPTIONS menu. You will have to change the font type in this setting to the appropriate font. In this case, it is "DV-TT Surekh". You need to set the size suitable to your eyes.
