Layers of the Pavê

  1. Graham Crackers
  2. Custard
  3. Graham Crackers
  4. Pudding
  5. Whipped Cream

Custard

  • 3 Egg Yolks
  • 1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 Can Milk
  • 2 Tbs. Maizena (Corn Starch)
  1. Beat egg yolks.
  2. Stir in milks and corn starch.
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick.

Chocolate Pudding

  • 3 Cups Milk
  • 2 Tbs Butter (to taste)
  • 3 Tbs Baking Cocoa
  • 6 Tbs Sugar (or to taste)
  • 3 Tbs Maizena (Corn Starch)
  1. Combine 1 cup milk, butter, baking cocoa, sugar, and salt in medium sauce pan.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until cocoa loses its bitterness.
  3. Dissolve cornstarch in remaining milk and stir into chocolate.
  4. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick.
