List of Basic fees as of 01/01/2011
Fees are subject to change without prior notice. fee changes do not affect time allowances of prepaid clients
Basic Service call includes first 2 hours on site. $60.00 time is billed at $24.00hr after first 2 hours. This includes only basic services that can be done on site such as instruction, basic diagnostics, software debugging, ect. anything requiring extended service I will usually request to take to my shop as it is easier to download different software tools and diagnostics tools. I also have access to any tools and online publications I may need to refer to.
Installation of DSL, Cable, Dial-up internet. Basic service fee plus $10.00 ($70.00). time is not billed unless project takes more than 3 hours time is billed at $10.00hr after first 3 hours.
Major virus removal requires machine be brought in to shop.
Bench Services in Shop vary in costs depending on job
Basic wipe and reload of computer $75.00 this includes reformatting and reloading of system only. (note customer is responsible for supplying any system software to be loaded and is responsible for all licensing fee's of such) This is the easiest way to get rid of major viruses.
Expanded wipe and reload of computer $175.00 this includes backing up any documents customer wants saved, reloading of system and all software provided by customer. This usually takes several days to complete fully, and I will not back up data that is corrupt or virus infested. also all passwords for the system will need to be disclosed so I will not have to call every 10 minutes to get another password from customer. (note customer is responsible for supplying any software to be loaded and is responsible for all licensing fee's of such)
Install of internal cards, memory, drives $50.00 for the install. (note customer is responsible for supplying any Hardware to be installed and is responsible for supplying any software or drivers required for the item.)
Complete build of New System $200.00 (note customer is responsible for supplying any Hardware to be used and software to be loaded and is responsible for all licensing fee's of such. I do have sources for all that would be needed, but I require a deposit of enough to cover all the costs of parts and software. prices fluctuate so much I cannot give a ballpark figure, I can gather prices and give costs upon consignment. I cannot build a system for as cheap as Dell, Compaq, Emachine, or any other major company, so if you want cheap buy from them. but try and get them to come and fix your computer on the spot.) warranties on systems are dependent in warranties of materials used, I cannot warrant (ie Video card with 90 day warranty) items for a year that do not have a manufacturers warranty of that length of time. I do warrant workmanship, and labor is included for 1 year on repairs customer is responsible for cost of out of warranty replacement parts.
Bench testing of equipment for diagnostics only $5.00
Any material needed I can obtain but a deposit is required equal to cost of materials.
Please be aware any repairs done must be paid for within 120 days of completion or the item will be considered forfeit in lieu of payment and will become the property of Paradise Computer consultants .
A Monthly retainer is available which includes 10 hours onsite service per month to be used each month. $300.00 (hour allowences can only be carried over in the amount of 20 minutes per hour. if 10 hours remain only 3.33 hours carry over to new month making the new month 13.33 hours of service)
A Monthly retainer is available which includeds 30 hours onsite service per month to be used each month. $900.00 (with this level hour allowences can only be carried over in the amount of 30 minutes per hour. if 10 hours remain only 5 hours carry over to new month making the new month 35 hours of service)
A Yearly retainer is available which includeds 500 hours onsite service for the year to be used that year. $9500.00 (with this level hour allowences can only be carried over in the amount of 30 minutes per hour up to 50% of total time. if 100 hours remain only 50 hours carry over to new year making the new year 550 hours of service However, time from a previous year does not carry over a second time. Only the portion of time for the current year will carry over)
A Yearly retainer is available which includeds 1200 hours onsite service for the year to be used that year. $18000.00 (with this level hour allowences can only be carried over in the amount of 40 minutes per hour up to 50% of total time. if 500 hours remain only 333.33 hours carry over to new year making the new year 1833.33 hours of service However, time from a previous year does not carry over a second time. Only the portion of time for the current year will carry over)
A Yearly retainer is available which includeds 2500 hours onsite service for the year to be used that year. $39500.00 (with this level hour allowences will be carried over in the hour for hour up to 50% of total time. if 1000 hours remain 1000 hours carry over to new year making the new year 3500 hours of service. However, time from a previous year does not carry over a second time. Only the portion of time for the current year will carry over)
Limitations of carry over times are for obvious reasons. If you are a 2500hr level and only used 300hrs 4800 hours is equal to 92 hrs a week and 8.42 per hour. I would be stretched too thin and make way too little for my time.
All retainers only cover basic services and labor. All parts, software, or any materials to be used, are to be supplied by the client.
