MRS. MELDON.

Mrs. Meldon was a widow of about 43 years of age. She was professor Corrie’s sister. She was sad that day because it was the death anniversary of her son Eddie who wad killed in the war.

Mrs. Meldon was very emotional and sensitive. She could not forget her son. She became very sad when she heard that Corrie had invented the formula of a destructive bomb. While talking to her brother she become emotional and wiped her tears again and again. When Corrie told her that his bomb would kill thousand of men and women and destroy the whole cities. She became very angry. She told him not to make such a destructive bomb because it would also kill women and children. When Corrie did not agree with her, she broke the scientific apparatus and then killed him.

Mrs. Meldon had great sympathy for all human beings. She said people should not killed whatever their country nationality might be. She thought of those mothers who would lose their sons in the war.

Mrs. Meldon was a loving woman. She wanted that all the countries of the world should live peacefully. She did not like war because young men are killed for nothing. She did not like politicians because they were responsible for starting wars.

Mrs. Meldon was a simple woman. She talked to Corrie openly and clearly. She was merciful and had sympathy for all. After the death of her son and husband she felt lonely. She lived with her brother who was a cruel man.

Professor Corrie tried hard to convince her but could not succeed. She insisted that Professor Corrie should destroy the formula of his bomb. Finally when she found that he did not agree with her, she killed him. She killed her brother to save human beings. She felt that human life is more important then anything else in the world.

 

 

PROFESSOR CORRIE.

Professor Corrie was an intelligent scientist. He was middle-aged man about 50. He was a very hard working and successful scientist. He did not think about anything else when he was busy in his scientific work. He was a bachelor. He invented the formula of a destructive bomb. He believed that weapons of war should be made more horrible.

Professor Corrie was a very cruel man. He had no mercy for human beings. He sad that his bomb would kill thousand of people at once. He did not think that women and children were also killed. He said that there was no difference between the girl who made weapons in a factory and a man who used them in a war.

Professor Corrie had no sympathy for his sister. Mrs. Meldon told him that it was the death anniversary of her son, but he did not become serious. He went on talking proudly about his dangerous invention. He did not care the feelings of his sister who was very sad on that day. He was so careless that he did not go to the station to receive her. He did not go downstairs to meet her.

Professor Corrie was very selfish. He was very greedy. He wanted to become very rich and famous. He wanted to sell his bomb to his country at a high price. He thought if his country would not give him more money, he would sell it to another country. This shows that he had no love for his country. He was not patriot. He only wants to get money and become famous.

Professor Corrie had no good opinion about woman. He said that no woman could become a great scientist because they could not work hard. He is so cruel that the tears of her sister could not move him.

Professor Corrie was very stone hearted. He wanted to make war more horrible. Therefore he had invented the formula of a dangerous bomb which could destroy whole cities at once. He wanted quick and complete destruction of cities. He did not care for the life and property of other people.
