Assilem’s Rant! Sorry it took so long, I kinda forgot about it. I know I’m bad. But don’t sue!

Charles grinned and walked up the path of the Hunnicut home. He looked over at his wife who was smiling. Emma was skipping ahead of them and both parents watched as she fell. Emma turned around and laughed.

Charles walked over to the two-year-old, picked her up and walked onto the porch.

"Daddy me?" Emma asked. Charles nodded and helped the little girl ring the doorbell. Charlotte smiled and the three waited until the door was answered.

Little Erin Hunnicut who was now seven answered the door.

"Hi." Erin smiled.

"Hello, you must be Erin."

"That’s me."

"I heard many stories about you." Charles smiled.

"Well I don’t know who you are, but I’m sure Daddy told me lots of stories about you too." Charles laughed at the seven-year-old.

"I’m Charles Winchester, this is my wife Charlotte and my daughter Emma."

"Hi. Daddy and everyone are out in the back. Come with me." Erin smiled. Charles and Charlotte followed the oldest Hunnicut into the back yard. Immediately they were recognized.

"Charles!" BJ smiled running up to him.

"Hunnicut." Charles greeted with a smile. "Charlotte, this is BJ Hunnicut. Hunnicut this is my wife Charlotte and my daughter Emma."

"Hi." Emma waved. BJ smiled and waved.

"Where have you been hiding yourself?" BJ asked.

"What do you mean Hunnicut?" Charles asked.

"What do I mean? No contact for five years and then you come walking into my backyard with a little girl and a wife. Charles, Charles, Charles," BJ reprimanded with a smile. "Its good to have you back. Come on I’ll introduce you to everyone."

The three walked over to a group of people; Hawkeye looked up with a smile as he held one of the twins.

"Well, everyone, look who deiced to show himself. Our own Chuck Winchester, and he brought along a wife, Charlotte and a kid, Emma."

"Hello." Charlotte smiled.

"Hi there Charlotte. Have a seat." Peg smiled offering the woman a chair. Charlotte smiled and sat down with Emma.

"Charlotte let me introduce you to everyone." BJ smiled. "This is my wife Peg, our son Ben and daughter Erin. Beside me is Radar and Patti O’Rielly. And beside them are Mr. and Mrs. Potter. And next to them are Max and Soon-Li Klinger and their daughter Jennifer. And beside them are John McIntyre and Caitlin Bones. And beside him are Lisa and Frank Burns and beside them are Hawkeye and Margaret Pierce and their children Cassandra, Alice and Cora. These are all the people who could make it on short notice."

"It’s a pleasure to meet you all." Charlotte smiled. "Say hello to everyone Emma."

"Hi." Emma waved.

"Hi." Cassandra waved back. "Me Cassandra."

"Emma." Emma smiled pointing to herself.

"Princess why don’t you, Jennifer and Emma play?" Hawkeye suggested. Cassandra nodded and the three girls went to go play.

"So Charles you finally decided to come home." Hawkeye smiled.

"What do you mean Pierce?" Charles asked sitting down.

"What Pierce means Winchester is that you’re family and you know it." The elderly colonel explained with a smile.

"Thank you Colonel."

"Don’t thank me Winchester, you earned it."

"I’ve earned nothing sir. It’s a privilege to have a family as it were like this." Charles smiled sincerely. Everyone one smiled and looked at one another, they were truly a family.
