Epilogue (not in Trapper's POV) As of 1965

Hawkeye and Trapper met up again a few months later, where they caught up and quickly became friends again, although not as close as before.

B.J. and Trapper get along fairly well, with only occasional bouts of jealously. They and Hawkeye meet yearly either in Boston, Crab Apple Cove, or Mill Valley.

Trapper and Louise are still divorced, neither of them remarried, and regularly keep in touch. Their daughters, Kathy and Becky, say there's hope for them yet.

Kathy McIntyre is in her second year of college, planning to become a doctor like her Dad.

B.J. Hunnicutt and his family, Peggy, Erin, and B.J (Benjamin Junior) live in Mill Valley where B.J has his private practice.

Hawkeye Pierce married Hannah Wright, the girl next door, and they have a ten-year-old son, Danny.
