Society

The Society takes an active part in preserving our heritage. We promote various projects in local history and offer advice. We maintain links with local archives, libraries, museums and groups connected with archaeology, family history and industrial archaeology.

We have regular talks on local topics at venues around Cleveland, as well as occasional all-day meetings with invited speakers.

The club meets on the first Monday of each month at 7.30 in Miners hall at Saltburn and Welcomes new members.

Membership

This is open to everyone of all ages. All you need is an interest or enthusiasm for local history, whether you're interested in specific time periods or perhaps the history of your locality. Whatever your interest you are welcome to join the Society and take part in its activities.
