Hosein Hekmat

Hosein Hekmat (H) as a young lad was always interested in the rock/guitar-based side of the musical spectrum, by the age 16 he was able to gain enough independence and start playing guitar, an interest he regrets not taking up earlier due to parents restraints. His influences are a wide range mainly in the context of rock " I like bands that are talented, not because they are, I just have an ear for good music". From old-school rock like Aerosmith, Van-Halen and Bon jovi to modern music like Funeral for a friend to punk-rock bands like The Backyard Babies to guitar virtuosos like Yngwie Malmsteen, to classical influenced modern metal band Nightwish and everything in-between. "I also enjoy a lot of movie score such as the work of Dan Elfman". With such a wide range of musical influences, no doubt the music brought to the band from H will be very interesting.
