Charlotte's Horror Discovery

Charlotte is horrified when a patient reveals that he's been abused
while in a local boarding house for the elderly. The doctor is
assigned to treat Michal (Bogden Koca), a Polish man who was picked
up by an ambulance after he collapsed in the street.

Charlotte (Tammy MacIntosh) initially thinks it's a simple case of
arthritis in the patient's knees, but discovers that there's more
to it.

Michal, who doesn't speak English and refuses the services of a
translator, lashes out at staff when being transferred to another
room and Charlotte sees a serious infection on his back. She wonders
about the standard of care in his boarding home.

As Charlotte wins Michal's confidence, he reveals to a translator the
nightmarish conditions at the home. The nurse investigates the claims
and is stunned by what she discovers.
