Poor Von (Judith McGrath) has been run ragged by troubled teen Adam Finch (Richard Wilson), but the dedicated nurse ain’t seen nothing yet as she’s about to discover in the latest gripping episode of All Saints. Adam cared for his gran Sally throughout the time his mum Gina (Anni Finsterer) was hooked on heroin and formed a unique bond with the old lady. But now she’s dying and the ever- vulnerable Adam simply can’t face it.
The trauma comes got on the heels of recent revelations that it was Adam who was responsible for the fire at Mitch’s (Erik Thompson) Rapid Detox Clinic, sounding the death knell for the altruistic project. After dabbling with drugs , the teenager seemed to be getting his head together, with a lot of help from Von, until this new blow. Distraught, he runs off in Von’s car with tragic results.
Meanwhile another emotionally confused character- ambo Ben Markham (Brian Vriends)- is in danger yet again when schizophrenic patient Ian Neal (Leon Ford) escapes from custody and is on the loose with a knife.
Also this week: Terri’s (Georgie Parker) ethics are put on the line, Jared (Ben Tair) tells his former lover Kylie (Ling- Hseuh Tang) about his impotency problems, and the annoyingly talkative Regina (Celia Ireland) is back as the Ward 17 clerk.
