Chapter Five:
That night, Libby, Matt, Taryn and Jenn watched the concert from the side of the stage.  Jenn appeared to be completely and totally enamored with Justin, which Libby knew was all an act.  The guys had tried to corner Justin in the dressing room after Libby had dragged Jenn away from Justin, but he would hear nothing about Jenn's real age.  So, now, here they were, on the side of the stage in Hershey, PA for 'N Sync's final show of their first leg of their No Strings Attached tour.  Libby was completely comfortable around these guys... all except for Justin.  After they had gone to the sound check, Libby tried to talk to Justin, to get to know him a little better, but he seemed so distant for some reason.  When the concert ended, they all went back to the hotel, only to find that their rooms were on the same floor.  After Matt and Taryn went to sleep, Libby went to Chris' and Joey's room, where she watched TV and hung out for a few hours.  When she went back to her own room, she found Taryn and Matt in theire perspective beds, but no Jenn.  She wasn't about to wait up for her, so she went to sleep.  The next morning, Jenn's bed was still made, it hadn't been slept in.  This observation broke Libby's heart.  But, nonetheless, she was going to spend the day with the guys, at Hersheypark again, and this time Chris had convinced Justin and Jenn to spend the day with the group.

Libby got up, took a shower and got dressed, throwing on a pair of baggy khaki cargo shorts from the Gap and a pink Unionbay tank top on top of her white string bikini, and woke up Taryn and Matt.  She got them dressed, and just as she was putting on her Candie's sandals, she heard about ten very loud knocks on the door.  She looked up in surprise and yelled over the knocking, "Come in guys!"

"The door's locked!" Chris yelled from the other side.

Libby looked toward the door and saw the it was not locked.  "Chris, the door is not locked, try turning the knob," she said while walking toward the door.

"I am!  It's not turning at all!"

Libby rolled her eyes and opened the door, sending Chris, Lance, Joey and JC flying into her room in a pile.  Naturally, they brought her down with them, and one can only guess who was at the bottom of that pile.  "Guys get off of me!" Libby yelled, her voice muffled.  She looked up and into a pair of clear blue eyes, which were scrunched up with laughter.  "Chasez, get off of me now!  You weigh a lot more than you think, you know!"

"I do not, I only weigh one-sixty-five!" JC said while getting off Libby and sitting next to her.

"Yeah, and I weigh one hell of a lot less than that," she muttered, sitting up next to him, holding her stomach.

"Sorry about that," JC said, scooting closer to her.  "You know that you're cute when you're angry," he said with a small grin.

She glared at him.  "Stuff it, JC."

"I know when I'm not needed," JC said, standing up and helping Libby to her feet.

"That don't happen too often," Chris muttered.

"NO!  I will NOT go on Great Bear, Justin," Libby said calmly, a sign that she was getting pissed.  The two had gottan seperated from their group and were now arguing about going on a rollercoaster that Libby hadn't want to go on, ever.

"Oh, come on, are you chicken?" Justin teased.

"No, I'm not, I just don't want to go on the damn rollercoaster, okay?" Libby said.

"Why not?  Come on, I'll even go on it with you, let's go," Justin said, grabbing her arm.

"Justin, let me go!  I can't go on it, I can't!" Libby cried, pulling her arm back.

"Now I know you're a ckicken," Justin muttered, letting go of her arm.

"I am NOT a chicken!  I just don't wanna go on the damn rollercoaster!"

"Whatever," Justin said casually as he sat down on a bench.

Libby was beginning to get extremely pissed.  "Justin, I am not a chicken.  And if you're gonna be so freaking persistant about this whole thing, then let's just go on and get this over with."

"Thank you!" Justin said, getting up from his position and grabbing her hand.  "You won't be sorry about this, trust me."

"Maybe," she muttered.

When they got on the ride, Libby was holding tightly onto the shoulder bars.  Her knuckles were turning white before Justin's eyes.  "Yo, Lib, you gotta stop holding on like that, relax, it's only a ride."

"Yeah, only a ride," Libby repeated, trying to reassure herself that she would be fine on this steel thing.  This was not the case.  On the first hill she was fine, but the first hill immedately went into what's known as an Immelman, a combination of two loops in succession.  Libby was so petrified that she fainted.  With the next loop, her head hit the side of the shoulder bars and she was knocked unconscience.  Once the ride was over, Justin started talking to her, not realizing she was bleeding from a wound on her forehead.

"Man, that was awesome!  Libby, that was so cool, you can thank me later for dragging you on it.  Libby?  Oh my God, someone get an ambulance!  She's unconscience!  Libby, please wake up, please!"
