I make no apologies for the way I portray certain people in this story. I have my reasons, and freedom of speech is one of them. The story is FICTION, I do not claim that it happened, it never did and it never, ever, EVER will. Since this story is fiction, the charecters in it do not behave as they would in "real life." One of the charecters in the story, Hayleigh Martin, never even existed, though she is loosely based upon certain people I see every day of my life; they way they look, act, etc. She is a combination of many people that I know. She was NEVER on MMC, and thanks to it being cancelled by the Disney Channel, she never will be on MMC.
The way I portray JC Chasez, Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears is NOT, I repeat, NOT the way they act in "real life." At least, I don't think so. The story is FICTION, which means it isn't true for those of us who don't understand big words. I don't know how often I have to stress this. NOT TRUE. NOT AT ALL. NEVER HAPPENED, NEVER WILL.
I may take people and twist them around a bit, but when it comes to getting actual FACTS straight, such as locations (Ocean City, Maryland, for example), I do as much as I possibly can to get information correct. At the very least, I do some research on the net to see if I can find anything, the library is my next step. But if it means having to physically go to the place I name in my story, so be it, but I usually go to the places I write about anyway. I've been to Ocean City four times, I've been to Orlando and the surrounding area once. I may not know everything there is to know about it, but I felt I had enough information that I could write a decent story around the location. If I screwed up on something, I'm sorry, but it's too late now, the story is posted and I'm not touching it.
Please don't hate me for what I do to the charecters in my story. Let me put it this way; at least I don't kill them all off, because I could and I would because it's MY story. This is one of the few original 'N Sync stories out there, so take caution when reading it.
