"Lost"

Some time ago I was taking phone bookings at another Taxi company at which I worked (It was quiet on the radio, busy on the phones) and I got a call from an obviously Looney gentleman in an area of Sydney known as Allambie Heights. This suburb houses the local "funny farm" The gentleman who called explained to me that he was opposite the petrol station and that he wanted to go to the city. I asked was he on Allambie road (the main road through the area) and he said "yes". As Allambie road is 5 kilometers long I asked for a cross street. Getting rather Irate with my Questioning the fellow began to snarl at me and said that he didn't know. I asked was he in a phone booth, "yes" He replied again. I asked him was he on a street corner "Yes" he again replied. I asked him ever so politely to look out the door and tell me what the street sign said. After hearing him cursing at me under his breath, he came back on the line and said ...
