Turn to Qur'an and Sunnah

"This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah." - 26:80
"And obey Allah and the Messenger. that ye may obtain mercy." - 3:132

فَإِن تَنَازَعْتُمْ فِي شَيْءٍ فَرُدُّوهُ إِلَى اللّهِ وَالرَّسُولِ إِن كُنتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ ذَلِكَ خَيْرٌ وَأَحْسَنُ تَأْوِيلاً
"If you differ in anything amongst yourselves, refer it back to Allah and His Messenger, if you believe in Allah and in the Last Day. That is better and more suitable for final determination." [al-Nisaa: 59]
