"When the Qur'an is read, listen to it with attention, and hold your peace: that ye may receive Mercy."

A. L. R. (This is) a Book, with verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning), further explained in detail,- from One Who is Wise and Well-acquainted (with all things): - 11:1

"Alif Lam Ra. These are the Ayats of Revelation, of a Qur'an that makes things clear."

Say: "But in truth He is the One God, and I truly am innocent of (your blasphemy of) joining others with Him."

Do they not consider the Qur'an (with care)? Had it been from other Than Allah, they would surely have found therein Much discrepancy. - 4:82

We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption). - 15:9

That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, In Book well-guarded, Which none shall touch but those who are clean: A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. - 56:77-80

Do you believe in some parts of the Book and disbelieve in other parts? Whosoever does that would be subjected to humiliation in this life and a severe punishment on the day of resurrection.

"Verily in this (Qur'an) Is a Message for people Who would (truly) worship Allah We sent thee not, but As a Mercy for all creatures."

Allah has revealed (from time to time) the most beautiful Message in the form of a Book, consistent with itself, (yet) repeating (its teaching in various aspects): the skins of those who fear their Lord tremble thereat; then their skins and their hearts do soften to the celebration of Allah's praises. Such is the guidance of Allah. He guides therewith whom He pleases, but such as Allah leaves to stray, can have none to guide. - 39:23

"Verily, this Qur'an doth guide to that which is most right, and giveth the glad tidings to the
Believers who work deeds of righteousness, that they shall have a magnificent reward."

There is, in their stories, instruction for men endued with understanding. It is not a tale invented, but a confirmation of what went before it,- a detailed exposition of all things, and a guide and a mercy to any such as believe. - 12:111

 

11:1

For them are glad tidings, in the life of the present and in the Hereafter; no change can there be in the words of Allah. This is indeed the supreme felicity. - 10:64

The word of thy Lord doth find its fulfilment in truth and in justice: None can change His words: for He is the one who heareth and knoweth all. - 6:115
