1871 living at Shephall,Herts with wife Elizabeth,daughter Sarah Lees and 1 month old Elizabeth Jane Lees.William Lees does not appear.Johns age is given as 70 and he would still appear to be working as a farm labourer.
1881 now living at Bragbury End,Datchworth with daughter Sarah and her new husband John Baulk.Also living there is Elizabeth Jane Lee age 11 and also Henry(Harry) Lee age 5 plus Sarah's new sons to John Baulk,William and Ernest.
John's age is given as 77 and he would still appear to be working as a cowman.

John married Elizabeth Jane White, daughter of Simon White and Ann, 8th Jun 1833 in Aston, Herts. (Elizabeth Jane White was born in 1811, christened on 14 Mar 1813 in Aston, Herts and died in Jun 1871 in Hitchin, Herts 3a 191.)
