PAKIL HISTORIC LANDMARKS
SAN PEDRO de ALCANTARA Parish Chruch (The Diocesian Shrine of the Blessed Mother of Sorrows of TURUMBA) - Built during the Spanish  regime on 1732 under the incumbency of Father Fernando Jaro, this Roman Catholic church was considered one of the oldest existing church in the country. This church has a Corinthian and Ionoc style. For the record, this is the only church in the province of Laguna  that was never been damaged by the bombings during World War II. Through the voluntary help of the people of Pakil and other devotees, who shared for a common goal, this church has been carefully maintained and beautified from generation to generation.
PAKIL MUNICIPAL BUILDING - The Municipality of Pakil  is govern by local officials comprises of a Mayor, a Vice-Mayor and eight councilors elected by the people of Pakil for a four years term. Pakil became a town on May 12, 1676. Pictures or paintings of all the former Mayor of Pakil was displayed at the "Bulwagang Maginoo" on the upper level of the Municipal building.
MARCELO Q. ADONAY Monument - This historic landmark is located at the center west end of the town plaza. The people of Pakil built this monument in his honor. The town plaza was later named after him. A great Pakileno, Marcelo Adonay y Quisteria (February 6, 1848- February 8, 1928) was a famous organist and choirmaster of the San Agustin Church in Intramuros, Manila for so many years. He is known as the "Prince of Church Music". He was also a great composer, conductor, music teacher, flutist, violinist, pianist, clarinetist, cellist,  trumpet and bass player, a tenor and more...
MT. PING-AS. This historic and scenic landmark has an annual festivity known as "Ahunan sa Ping-as" celebrated every last Saturday of May. Thousands of participants both children and adults climb up the mountain each year to see the "Santacruzan" and attend the Holy Mass. At the foot of the cross, you can see the bird's eye view of the town. The traditional "Santacruzan" commenced in memory and honor of the late Fr. Francisco Solier who used to carry a wooden cross as a devotion when climbing up the mountain of Ping-as. When he died on 1671, the people of Pakil erected a wooden cross ( later built a concrete one) over Mt. Ping-as. This becomes an annual tradition and event to climb up Mt. Ping-as. This is one of the most exciting and thrilling event in Pakil.
Pakil Multi-Purpose Stage. Different events were held on this stage all year round whether it's for political, public or religious purposes like this traditional "Komedya". On the eve of each "Pistang Lupi", a classical Komedya was played. This was performed by Pakilenos, who dedicated their time and talents in honor of the Blessed Mother of Turumba, to entertain thousands of visitors. These visitors are devotees of the Blessed Mother of Turumba who came along from various places to participate in the festivity.
NUESTRA SRA. de los DOLORES de TURUMBA Swimming Pool. This public swimming pool has a natural spring water and proven to be one of the cleaness source of drinking water. During "Pistang Lupi" season, thousands of Turumba devotees went over there to take a bath and get some water to bring back home. They believed,  thru faith and prayers, that this water is medicinal and can cure different types of disease. This swimming pool has several improvements and it's one of the town's tourist spots especially during summer season.
