My friends are very
few, so I hope you appreciate the risk I take of losing them by bringing
their photos in here.
My dear friend, so lovely as she looks on her bike, is
able to do the whole patchwork on a coffin. At the moment she´s travelling round the world (she´s been
doing it for the last 5 years) and I hope she´s alright.
Mademoiselle, est-ce que tu pourrais écrire à ton vieux ami?
J'éspere que tu seras bien. À bientot. [Sophie]
These people are
holding a cultured discussion on the possibilities of a man to arrive in
Mars before 2009. [left to right]: [Jordi,

These beauties used to live around Leo st, Dublin 7 circa 1999. They're
between a full pint and an empty pint as our life there used to be. [Eli,
Inés, Irene, Joana] I first met this couple in Xi'an
(China), and then we came accross in Shanghai again. They survive in Buenos
Aires, a city and an accent that I love [Romina and Sebastián]
The one in white is my good friend Carlos Villalba, from Valencia, to whom I
met in Reims (France) in 1997. In 2002 we were sharing a flat in Dublin
centre. Those MIB are also members of the group
Mangeira. They play South American
music at the pubs of the dirty old town. [Carlos and Mangeira]
February 2004. I had that wonderful trip to Coimbra in Portugal. I also
visited Oporto and Lisbon with my friends. Upper and lower, left to right:

A couple of nice Salamanca girls that I met in Ireland. Both very red, and
very purple. One of them lives in Barcelona now, the other one is about to
move to Brussels after a few years in Edinburgh. [Silvia and Nuria]
This is one of the mythical characters in Dublin 2000. He is 30 years-old
and has never cooked in his life. He was fired from two jobs in less than
one hour. Always connected to Messenger. His dream is selling wines to the
Italians, who already expelled him once. [Vicente]
I spent a few months in The Hague, harassed and haunted by ghosts. But I
also found good friends. Even if they look back in the Sixties.
