i'm not clear on my feelings about this movie. it's about 'joan of arc'.... and i really liked the actress - but they sure do make joan out to be a freak. it was interesting, to say the least - and i guess i would reccommend it as a rental - but i don't know how i feel about how the story was told.... i mean, they couldn't possible know a lot of the stuff they portrayed - like her visions (or hallucinations, however you want to look at it) and stuff, unless she wrote it all down in a journal or something, but they never show anything like that. so, i have a feeling a lot of it is fiction - which is fine but they don't make it out to be fiction, and that disturbs me a bit. plus, they never reveal why she's called 'joan of arc' and that pissed me off.
