i don't know what to say about this movie. i'm tired of flicks trying to be so damn artsy, and leave you trying to figure out if you missed something - or like you need a degree in poetry or something to get the hidden message underlying all the weirdness. i guess it entertained me okay - it somehow kept my attention for 3+ hours, but i was left thinking "that's it? - what did i miss?" it makes me feel stupid - like i'm too shallow to get it because it isn't direct and in your face what it's supposed to mean. i think the reason it kept my attention for all that time, is because i was waiting for the other shoe to drop, and then when it did - i didn't understand it. who knows...
