boys don't cry

very sad and tragic story about a horrible hate crime and how ignorant people can be. fascinating how this girl pulls off living as a boy and even has sex with other girls without them ever being the wiser. loved chloe sevigny as the white trash girlfriend that sticks by brandon even when she finds out he's not what he seems to be. really a must see, but be prepared - there are some graphic scenes not for the faint of heart.... and it will piss you off.
