Nature and tradition In Corfu
Easter-Greek Easter

The lilacs decorate the landscape which lives its own Easter (Easter *Anastasi* in Greek means rising) by takingpart to the sentimental atmosphere of the island, from north to south. The nature smells wonderful while wakes up from the wet winter, with flowers and lilacs next to the narrow paths, to the sides od the roads among the colorful bougainvilleas.

There are so many eatable grapes and other wine grapesin Corfu, that they are difficult to be counted. All of themdecorate the nature's "uniform", as weel as our table.

There are small squashes and sweet potatoes in our gardens and little farms.
Here, people know how to eat even the yellow flower of the squashes, stuffed with herbs and cheese in a traditional home made cooking.

The little local strawberries are delicious. Some people sell them standing by the side of the roads and in 1 hour they are sold. Some figs, so sweet are unique to be eaten early in the morning, during summer time
The characteristic little olive on our olive trees, which is met around the Corfiot nature, is a variety, which is one of the oldest in Greece. The Combination of cypress and olive trees, bay trees and eucalyptus and so many other trees , give a fantastic rich plantation on this green land with the blue sea around
