Revelation - Chapter 5

Compile starting 16th December 2002.

  1. I saw a scroll in the right hand of the one who sits on the throne; it was covered with writing on both sides and was sealed with seven seals.

  2. And I saw a mighty angel, who announced in a loud voice, "Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?"

  3. But there was no one in heaven or on earth or in the world below who could open the scroll and look inside it.

  4. I cried bitterly because no one could be found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside it.

  5. Then one of the elders said to me, "Don't cry. Look! The Lion from Judah's tribe, the great descendant of David, has won the victory, and he can break the seven seals and open the scroll."

  6. Then I saw a Lamb standing in the centre of the throne, surrounded by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb appeared to have been killed. It had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God that have been sent through the whole earth.

  7. The Lamb went and took the scroll from the right hand of the one who sits on the throne.

  8. As he did so, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each had a harp and gold bowls filled with incense, which are the prayers of God's people.

  9. They sang a new song: "You are worthy to take the scroll and to break open its seals. For you were killed, and by your sacrificial death you bought for God people from every tribe, language, nation, and race.

  10. You have made them a kingdom of priests to serve our God, and they shall rule on earth."

  11. Again I looked, and I heard angels, thousands and millions of them! They stood around the throne, the four living creatures, and the elders,

  12. and sang in a loud voice: "The Lamb who was killed is worthy to receive power, wealth, wisdom, and strength, honour, glory, and praise!"

  13. And I heard every creature in heaven, on earth, in the world below, and in the sea--all living beings in the universe--and they were singing: "To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb, be praise and honour, glory and might, forever and ever!"

  14. The four living creatures answered, "Amen!" And the elders fell down and worshipped.

King James Version

5:1    And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
5:2    And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
5:3    And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
5:4    And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
5:5    And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
5:6    And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
5:7    And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
5:8    And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
5:9    And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
5:10    And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
5:11    And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
5:12    Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
5:13    And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
5:14    And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

The lion is referring to me, the lion of the Lion City, another name of Singapore. Judah in Chinese is 'Yew Ta'. I don't know what 'Yew' means. 'Ta' can refer to our face. In Chinese version it is written as David's root and not descendant.

Another name for Jesus is Lamb. In Chinese version it has two words, quite similar showing the top 2 eye-brows. The first word also shows our teeth.

God wants you to have a kingdom of priests. Instead you pope, cardinals, bishop, ministers, pastors, elders etc want to have a world of prostitutes and perverts. You don't condemn those promoting pornography, don't condemn your governments and their leaders for allowing those committing sodomy, lesbianism, adultery etc but on human rights. Think whether God will condemn you or not?

America and western countries plus Japan etc, ask your high school graduates how many of them are still virgins? And how many of them have more than 5 partners? Don't you think the latter are like prostitutes? The men like perverts?
