Old News

1st December 2006
December looks like it'll be a good month; we have sets from Meet John Doe (we said they'd be back after September), Anison, Our Own Devices and They Died Too Young.
No doubt it'll all be as good as Agent Elf were last month :)

22nd October 2006
Hope you are all looking forward to next Crash Night on Thursday 2nd November.
I'm sure it will be as good as October was!

4th September 2006
Next Crash night is this Thurs (7th Sept) featuring Anison, The Brass Kats, and three acoustic sets from Kate, Rory and Plethora Sound. We hope to see you there.

Unfortunately Meet John Doe have had to pull out of September, but we hope to have them back again soon....

2nd August 2006
Apologies for laziness where updating is concerned of late! I hope you all enjoyed June and July, parts of which I thought were stunning, and are looking forward to this Thursday's (3rd August) musical delights from Anison, The Experiment and Tilney Sky.

The autumn line ups are also shaping up nicely with future sets from Meet John Doe, Chop Chop Bear Touch? and The Brass Kats among others.

21st May 2006
I hope you all enjoyed May's Crash night and arrived early enough to hear the lovely Shomaha. June will feature a mix of acoustic and electric music with sets from Dan and David, Plethora Sound, Anison and Big Truck to look forward to on Thurs. 1st June.

30th April 2006
Apologies for the updating laziness. I hope all who came to April's Crash night enjoyed the return of Agent Elf, and all the other bands, as much as I did and are looking forward to May's band night.

On Thurs 4th May we have Shomaha coming to play from Reading. They are on first so please arrive early to support them (if you don't believe how good they are go and listen to their tracks on myspace). Joining them are the ever lovely Meet John Doe, the Scarlet O'Haras, and as usual, Anison.

Additionally, new bands will be added to the summer's line ups over the next few days so drop back soon for more info.

11th March 2006
Thanks to all who came to this month's band night. I hope you all agree it was a great evening!

April promises to be equally good, if not more so, with the lovely Qtone and Agent Elf joining Anison and Chop Chop Bear Touch to create a varied musical delight.

17th February 2006
Meet John Doe are replacing The Sessions in March's line up. We hope this will satisfy all those who were disappointed last month!

11th February 2006
Just to let you know we also have a MySpace site now.
It's been lurking for a while but we hadn't really done much with it yet, however, we promise to brighten it up in the near future so go add us a a friend!

2nd February 2006
Many thanks to all who came to the first Crash night of 2006, we hope you enjoyed it.
Also cheers to all the bands who went out of their way to make it a good night despite two thirds of the original line-up changing!

Apologies to anyone who was expecting to see Meet John Doe tonight but they had to cancel at the last minute due to their singer getting tonsilitis. They should, however, be playing in Camden next week so if you are desperate for a MJD fix visit their website on our 'links' page for more details.

28th January 2006
February's line up has changed due to the the sad demise of Dumb Excuse. Do not fear, however, as their drummer Pete will be entertaining you with his new solo material, and DJ Northern Monkey will also be making an appearance. We look forward to seeing you there...

30th December 2005
Here is the lovely new Crash Collective website complete with updated gig news for 2006. I hope you find it useful for finding information about our gigs, CDs and how to contact us.
Please feel free to leave messages on the forum about any of our gigs you've been to.

7th November 2005
November's line up has come together nicely. Chop Chop Bear Touch and Anison will be joined by No Hope Astronaut and my personal favourites Qtone for an evening of quality entertainment on 16th November - see you there!

There will be no December Crash night, however we hope to confirm the 2006 Crash dates very soon.

11th October 2005
Cheers to everyone who came to the Grey Horse on 21st Sept and apologies for the recent lack of updates! However, I can now bring you the lovely news that Tom McInerney has been added to the October line up, and November is currently shaping up nicely with Chop Chop Bear Touch? and Anison lined up to play so far.

4th September 2005
The amusingly named Chop Chop Bear Touch? will now also be playing on 21st September.
Website details for Chop Chop Bear Touch? and Big Truck's websites can now be found on the 'Links' page.

Dumb Excuse have been added to October's line up, joining 100 Bullets Back and Anison.

29th August 2005
Big Truck have been added to September's line up. A link will appear for them on the 'Links' page as soon as I track down some info....

15th August 2005
Due to a drum kit related injury we are afraid that Inarchy have had to pull out of this month's band night but we hope to be able to reschedule them soon so keep watching the gig guide.

On a brighter note, we are very pleased to have added 100 Bullets Back to our October line up. Their website details are on the links page if you want more info about them.

10th August 2005
August's line up has undergone some drastic changes in the last few days. Mantra will be rescheduled to a later date and Year:Zero have not only changed their name to Meet John Doe but moved to Wednesday 21st September 2005 instead.

The new line up for August 17th is as follows:
Kate Anastasi (acoustic), Tom McInerney (acoustic), Rise Like Phoenix (formerly known as Death of a Party), Anison, Inarchy.
As we have a very packed line up we will be starting at 8pm, not 8.30pm as usual so please get to the Grey Horse early.

21st July 2005
Thanks to all last nights bands for putting on a great performance, and also thanks to all those who came and enjoyed listening.
Next Crash Night is Wednesday 17th August, hope to see you there.

27th June 2005
Year:Zero (who played at the recent June band night) will be returning to play on Wednesday 17th August 2005.

Hope to see you all again on 20th July for 4 excellent bands; Agent Elf, Death of a Party, Anison (acoustic) and a new addition to the line up, My Luminaries.

6th May 2005
We would just like to say a big thank you to everyone who came to Crash night last night.
Hope you enjoyed watching the bands as much as we did, and if you want to see those bands again soon you can check for other gigs they are playing on their websites (click the 'bands' page for Anison and T.D.T.Y. website addresses, or the 'links' page for Kill Kill Disconnect link).

Hope to see you on 15th June for the third Crash Night with Anison, Dumb Excuse and another band yet to be confirmed.

22nd April 2005
Just to keep you updated if you haven't noticed on the 'Gig Details' page that Dumb Excuse have been added to the June 15th line up, while Agent Elf have moved to 20th July and will be playing with Death of a Party. Finally on 17th August Mantra will be doing an acoustic set.

13th April 2005
Two more Crash nights have been arranged for Wednesday 20th July and Wednesday17th August, both at the Grey Horse, 8pm as usual. Hope to see you on 5th May.
