Rhianon rings like a bell through the night
And wouldn't you love to love her
She rules her life like a bird in flight
And who will be her lover?
All your life you've never seen a woman
Taken by the sky
Where would you stay if she promised to you heaven
Would you leave and try?
And he says, "Rhianon, don't go."
And he says, "Rhianon, stay."
And he says "I still cry out for you...
Don't leave me
Don't leave me..."

Seiji sat in the nightclub, admiring the young man and women around him. It was three years after the final battle with Arago, and now he was living alone. About a year past, the team had finally gone its separate ways. He knew a couple of them were still around, but he never saw them in a city as big as the one they were living in.
Suddenly a young girl caught his attention. In the flashing disco lights of the club, it was hard to get a focus on her appearance, but he caught an elfin face, a ghosting smile, dark hair- dark brown? blue? black? he couldn't tell- and ocean-blue eyes, made wider by the dim light.
Her black velvet dress with the slit up the sides showed off tan legs, and slipped like liquid mercury around her body as she danced to the thrumming beat. Her hair was held back with a red velvet band, and a silver spiked dog collar was around her neck, matching the silver hoop earrings in her ears.
"Who's that?" Seiji questioned the bartender.
"You knew around here? She's around all the time- real popular with the folk here. Name's Rhianon, she's a street musician, dances here sometimes for a little extra money. She's real popular with the people here. There's just something about her..."
"She's a drag queen?"
The bartender blinked. "You're sure more observant than most folk I know."
Seiji shrugged. "She's got a flat chest."
"Aa. Rhianon's not her real name, you know."
"Oh? Well, what is it?"
"No one knows, actually. It's a continuing bet between the guys at the bar. Try to get her real name. They made a pot, whomever finds out her name first wins it."
"Hmmm...shall I give it a go?" Seiji, the king of flirts, said, standing and weaving his way across the dance floor. In his usual pushy manner, he cut into the dance, winking at Rhianon before beginning to dance.
"So...where you from?" Seiji questioned.
She didn't answer.
Something was niggling at the back of his mind. "This may sound weird, but...do I know you? You look familiar."
"Duh. Hey, Seiji."
It took a moment for the familiarity of the voice to sink in.
"Ryo?"

Rhianon rings like a bell through the night
And wouldn't you love to love her
She rules her life like a bird in flight
And who will be her lover?
All your life you've never seen a woman
Taken by the sky
Where would you stay if she promised to you heaven
Would you leave and try?

The night was cool as Seiji and Ryo stepped outside. Neither one seemed to quite know what to say to the other.
"So...I hear you're a street musician of sorts."
Ryo chuckled softly. "You were talking to the bartender." It wasn't a question.
"Yeah. Ryo...why?"
Ryo shrugged, understanding the question. "I guess...I got so tired of always fighting for everyone else...I didn't want to go to work and always be fighing some corporate overlord. I've had enough of those already." He tipped a wink. "So now I'm my own boss- I can be who I am, and that's a musician."
"But- why the drag?"
"Discourages the girls. They get the picture." He groaned. "You'd be suprised how many girls go chasing after me."
"Not really," Seiji replied. "I have at least as many, remember?"
"I think you enjoy the attention, though, Seiji," Ryo grinned.
"Whatever gave you that idea?" Seiji shot back, mock-hurt, but pleased that htye seemed to be falling back into their usual bantering.
"You know, I missed you guys," Seiji commented suddenly. "I mean, I have my own life, but...it's not really much of a life. How did we lose touch, anyway?"
"I dunno...we just kinda drifted our own separate ways...we're all so different..."
"We'll have to get together sometime," Seiji said grinning, giving Ryo a friendly (albeit a bit overenthusiastic) pat on the back. "I better be going, but I'll try to come around some night soon."
"Sure," Ryo replied, waving absentmindedly. As Seiji left, he wondered why he definitely _didn't_ want to see the others...especially Touma...but seeing Seiji again would be great...

She is like a cat in the dark
And then, she is your darkness
She rules her life like a fine skylark
When the sky is starless
Once in a million years a lady like her
Rises
Oh, no, Rhianon climbs up and then she's gone
And your life knows no answer
Oh, your life knows no answer...

Ryo sat in the corner, eyes painted with dark blue eyeshadow, bringing out their blue. The way the shadow was put on made him look very cat-like, as he watched his...prey?
"Seiji..." he whispered softly, watching the blond-haired man dirty-dance with a girl in a skimpy outfit. He swallowed, trying to moisten his mouth. The other man looked like an angel in the dark, the light from the disco ball glittering over his face, the pink color in it setting his blond hair on fire.
*I've got problems...* Ryo groaned to himself. *When I said I wanted to keep the girls away, I really meant it, but I'm not sure Seiji quite _got_ it. I'm sure he understood on some level of consciousness, but it wasn't the one he actually thinks with. I wonder when it'll sink in...?*
*Now the question is how brave I am. I'm a child of fire- I think I'm supposed to be.* Ryo took a deep breath and straigtened his skirt nervously before slipping his way through the dancers on the floor. Rhianon...
Rhianon...
Rhianon...
Rhianon...

She rings like a bell through the night
And wouldn't you love to love her
She rules her life like a bird in flight
And who will be her lover?
All your life you've never seen a woman
Taken by the sky
Where would you stay if she promised to you heaven
Would you leave and try?
Say, would you leave and try?
