As typical fretful new parents, we lingered as we dropped Aldous off and introduced him to his cabin and counselors.   I think he bid us farewell at least five times before finally saying with no small note of exasperation, "Good-By-ye!" We managed to wait 2 days before calling in and finding out that he was not only fine but loving every minute!  

By the time we picked him up on the 6 th day, he was happily chattering about his adventures, ranging from his "WALL-E" impression at the Talent Show to rolling downhill on a scooter board and earning his first elbow scrape!   We couldn't believe the interaction and imagination that opened up just from one week and vowed to do whatever we could to make sure he returns every year.
