this project is still a work in progress but to the humble viewers of this website i am proud to show off my progress.
everthing on this albums is being recorded on a yamaha MT400 4 track cassette recorder. with help from my computer for multi effects and microphone preamping.
This is an EP i made over the course of exactly a week. one song a day from Nov 10th to November 17th 2023. it is almost entirely mdae up of vinyl samples recorded into a Casio SK-1. 1.46 seconds at a time.
UPDATE! as of 2024 this release is now on streaming!
I wasn't sure if i wanted to release it or not due to fear of copywrite infringement, however i bought all of those vinyl records legally so idk?
my favorite track off this project is without a doubt SK6, the amount of odd samples i pulled for this track is remarkable. like that hihat is the first second of "Everlasting Light" by "The Black Keys"
distrokid wouldnt let me name the songs with theyre respective track title so "sk1" became "sk0" and so on and so forth
this is a collection of songs i made on my Computer inspired by 90's jungle, House and JDilla. As it stands its either unfinished or "artisticaly complete".
the oldest track so far on this album is wisconsin which i made in febuary of 2022. but ive been working on this project until present day.
Im not sure how i feel about this project over all. Im sure ill never think its all the way done but let me know what you think in great detail.
while not every song had ukulele on it the first two did so that was good enough for me.
This project felt very effortless to make, it almost spilled out of me. However at the time i uploaded this to youtube, i didn't believe it was polished enough for streaming. im still not sure honestly, but i'm coming around to it.
UPDATE! as of 2021 this project has been published to streaming!
I don't know why i talk about car crashes so much on this project, its something i noticed in hindsight.
