Forthcoming Meetings

Meetings are held in St Benedicts Community Room at St.Benedict's High School, Captains Hill, Alcester on Tuesday nights at 8pm.

New members and guests are always welcome.

12th May 2009. The Geology of Warwickshire. Martyn Bradley, Chairman of Warwickshire Geological Conservation Group.

Sunday 5th July 2009. Summer Outing to Tyntesfield. A spectacular Victorian country house in Somerset. Details from Diane Moss.

8th September 2009. A Shepherds Tale. Shepherding and the Wool Trade in Warwickshire. David Smith NDA,Cert Ed. a retired shepherd.

10th November 2009. Railways of Alcester and District. An illustrated talk on an ever popular subject by Rev. Canon David Capron and friends.

Every month the committee looks at and discusses every planning application that appears for the Conservation Area in Alcester

We continue to support the Vision for Alcester Group in their various projects..

We continue to be concerned at the deteriorating state of some of the listed buildings in the Town Centre and are endeavouring to find ways to have them improved.
