Day 9

Side road entering into Mt. Everest area. The next 3 hours ride to Mt. Everest base camp was extremely terrible. I was throwing up and down all the way and hit the roof of the jeep few times.
Went through a river bed.
Kept going up.
Mt. Everest (痌縫嚎畃) base camp. The yellow spot at the left hand side of the photo was the camp site of a hiking team. I was told that they have to spend few months there to get use to high attitude, have a couple of trial climbs before the final climb. Each team will have 20, 30 people and most of them are support team. Only a couple get to the top.
