The Cycle
by Alvin Benatovich - July 24, 1959

Work and sweat
To spend your life
Die for security
Of child and wife.

Rewards for sure
Will come to you.
Work so hard
For these honored few.

Your child youll pamper
And try to breed
Into a perfect person
But for your own need.

Here yet the vision
Of a cycle I see.
I like my father
And my son like me.
