Let Freedom Ring
by Alvin Benatovich - March 1970
So let freedom ring
with deafening roar.
From city street, rural road
Along the boundless shore.
Suppress all symbols contrary
To freedoms way of life.
Hold high this Grecian way.
We live in no real strife.
Search, you fellow citizens.
All color, religion and age.
Hold these gifts more dearly
Before turning historys page.
Whatever has come and gone
Must be set for greater weight
Lest empires might crumble.
A dream realized too late.
So, let freedom ring
With deafening roar.
