Instead of using transistors which were invented in 1947 a new wave of amplifier uses vacuum tubes with high end prices reaching in excess of $3000. These can be used in conjunction with mp3 or cd players to give a great mix of the old and the new.

This brings me to a new idea. Why not bring back the old valve computers. Sure they'd use heaps of power but just think of the status it's worth when you out do your best friends purchase of a new AMD 5000+ with a new beut valve transisor computer with cool shiny phallic tubes.

One of the great benefits is you could guarentee they would never crash by testing all the possible permutations on its dual 8 bit registers while still being able to do all the basics needed such as adding substraction etc.
