Attended Tanglewood in 1995 as Leonard Bernstein Fellow.  Won the Shakespeare Prize from the Toepfer Foundation resulting in a year’s residency in Berlin. In 1999 he became Kit and Constant Lambert Fellow at the Royal College of Music.

Orchestral: A Rhyme for the Season (RLPO 2007), Like the sea, like time (RLPO 2007), Graven Image (RLPO for BBC Proms) first performed in Liverpool on 12.09.2008

Chamber music: Lichstspiel (Ensemble 10/10 commission first performed 20.02.2007); Wunderkammer (konzert) commissioned for 10/10 first performed 19.11.2008
