Criteria
The criteria I
have been operating to are:
composers who were born or worked on Merseyside, or who are currently living or
working on Merseyside, or established composers with strong Merseyside
connections. I am accepting composers who have at least one commercially published work,
or graduates in composition who are actively seeking performances of their
works, or students in composition whose supervisor or head of department recommend
specific works as worthy of public performance or composers whose works are
include in the repertory of regular public performers. I have also included all composers mentioned
in
I am including details of up to
ten seminal works in different genre for composers whose works are not listed
in the current edition of Grove or by their publisher and who do not have their
own web site. For other composers follow
