ItsYourTurn.com is an online game site where you are given several days to make a move; there are all sorts of games available. And you can register for free. I have 20 games in progress, which is the maximum amount allowed without buying a premium membership.

I like the site because

  • A. It's free
  • B. There are a lot of games available
  • C. Many of the variations are cool
  • D. Since you move one turn at a time, you don't need to set a lot of time aside to play.
  • E. There aren't any game applets that take forever to load.
  • F. If you want to play someone from real life in a board game, you don't have to be available to play at the same time.
  • (me, I often play chess games with one of the teachers from school via IYT.)
  • G. You don't have to keep track of any boards- the system does it for you

  • IYT is the shorthand for itsyourturn.com.
