Phylomedusa frog Centipede Eating Snake Tambopata Research Center, base of operations, from the air

One of the Phyllomedusa frogs that would try unsuccessfully to keep us awake at night with its 'Bawawa' call.

This is one of the beautiful snakes that can be found, if lucky, along the trails. With 120 species of snake, and only 4 poisonous ones, most of the time they are safe to admire.
