I'll teach you guys for picking Mallrats over this... Pretty Woman has become an Alaay's Classics. However, since I know that my classic list is pretty clumped and confusing, I'd like to take this article to display the Alaay's Classics list for everyones' convenience. Besides, I like taking up as much space as possible, and I don't think this movie will get the lengthy review I could hope for a classic. Alaay's Classics: Silence of the Lambs Monty Python and the Holy Grial The Breakfast Club Trious Colouers: Bleu Trious Colouers: Blanch Trious Colouers: Rouge As Good As It Gets The Breakfast Club Gettysburg Hamlet (1996) In Cold Blood The Emperor's New Groove Dead Poets Society Pretty Woman A Couch in New York I probably forgot a bunch of 'em. That's basically the list. The Star Wars movies were on honorable mention. I know I left about maybe... twenty or so films, there abouts. However, I do feel bad for all the performers that make these films gold that never get any credit. So; Alaay's Classics: Actors/Actresses. Let's see what this countdown brings! Don't worry, we will actually get to the movie review sometime. Alaay's Classics: Actors/Actresses Juliette Binoche Kenneth Branagh John Cleese Mel Gibson Sir Anthony Hopkins Judd Nelson Jack Nicholson Gwenith Paltrow Julia Roberts Robin Williams Ok, now that that is all done, we can focus on Pretty Woman. Pretty Woman stars Richard Gere and Julia Roberts as two people who "get money by screwing people." The movie starts with tough-as-nails business man Edward Johnson (Gere) in desperate need of some "tension relief". So, he does what an other semi-disturbed man would do; he got a hooker. But not just any hooker, this was Vivian so and so (Roberts). After his night of "talking" and "relaxation", Edward's laywer (Jason Alexander) calls up and informs him he's going to a big dinner that night and needs a date. Rather desperate, he pays Vivian $3,000 to spend six days as his "assistant". Also rather desperate, Vivian accepts the offer, and their off to a long partnership. But when rivalry, anger, and judgement steps in, so does love. Edward's little business proposal turned into a love affair he'd never expected. -Alaay- |
