| Title: Just Visiting Starring: Jean Reno, Christian Clavier, Christina Applegate, and Malcolm McDowell Genre: Comedy Rated: PG-13 for explosions Rating: **1/2 (out of ****) Sappy. The plot was fine, nothing bad, nothing amazingly new. It was supposedly a comedy, but didn't really shock me as being funny. The Man was entertained by Bridgette Wilson, but I don't think even that was enough for him. I was deeply impressed by Jean Reno who was the Italian hitman in The Professional who played a very good sappy knight. After his performance with Nat, I would've thought he'd stick with drama (which he was incredible at), but I guess not. His slave, Christian Clavier, played his part well enough, but wasn't anything special. Christina Applegate was kinda annoying, but that was the character, not her. Malcolm McDowell, however, was a killer wizard and made the movie what it was (two and a half stars). He was very entertaining and I'm dissapointed he wasn't in their long enough. However, Just Visiting was a decent movie with a crap plot and absolutely no enthusiasm or direction, but eh. -Alaay- |
