EARTH DAY CONSERVATION
Join us earth day, April 20 at Contra Loma Park in Antioch 9am to noon as we help the East Bay Park dept. by making a quail habitat and doing other conservation work. All Scouts from all districts and their families are welcome to attend. Please bring water and wear work clothes, gloves and sturdy shoes. The Park dept. will be putting on a delicious BBQ at noon for us. Please call Sherry Nolan and let her know approximately many will be attending in order to help plan for lunch, 473-5433. ROUNDTABLE IS THE PLACE TO BE UP TO DATE

Get the latest updates & hot off the press news on: Conservation, Camporee, Camp, OA & more. Cub leaders will wrap up this year�s Roundtable with yummy Cub cooking. Come make a banana boat & try some dutch oven cooking. Scout leaders don�t miss a fabulous evening of supplemental training!

Scouts interested in serving on staff are encouraged to sign up. This year will feature a new catapult competition. Scout�s who are taking SAT�s are welcome to attend after their tests. A reminder that drivers will need to park at the gate and walk into camp. Troops: this is an great event to invite Webelos to be your guests & let them get to know your troop. Current Bear and 1st Year Webelo Scouts and Leaders, please place this on your fall calendar now: October 19-20, Webelos Woods 2002, at BSA Camp Herms in the El Cerrito Hills: a great overnight camp-out at a great facility for 1st and 2nd year Webelos; scouts and parents invited! 2005 National Jamboree
Sign up now and reserve your spot to the 2005 National Jamboree at Fort A.P. Hill Virginia. Reservations are $50, pay at the council office. Why sign up now? Because you will have an input on what kind of tour we will take before the Jamboree, you will join other early birds in raising funds to pay for the trip. Our goal is to raise at least 50% of the total cost. There will also be opportunities to work at council resident camps and pay for the entire trip. Any Scout who will be 18 or older in 2005 may also place a reservation as a jr. leader. There will only be 3 jr. leader positions available. Adults wishing to attend may contact Ken Daniels about applying to be one of the adult leaders, 674-6100.
