CONSERVATION PROJECT
APRIL 19, 2003
9 a.m. to noon
Barbeque lunch provided
by the
East Bay Regional Park Department at noon!
WHERE: Contra Loma Regional Park, 1200 Fredickson Lane, Antioch
BRING: Gloves, sunscreen and water. Wear sturdy shoes, long sleeved shirt and long pants. Work clothes, NOT Scout uniforms. This year we will be joining another Scout group in cleaning up the park and getting it ready for the summer season. It would be a good idea to throw a first aid kit into the car, including bandaids from small cuts.
**If coming as an unit, leaders please handle your own tour permit**
RSVP: if possible, not required. please call the Operations' Volunteer Department 925 552-4951, with an estimate of how many people will be attending in order to supply the park dept. with an idea on how many to plan for the BBQ lunch and for any additonal information you need.
Directions: From Highway 4, take the Lone Tress Way exit south to Golf Course Road. Turn right on Golf Course, then right on Fredrickson. At the end of Fredrickson make a right into the Park. REMEMBER: Tell the ranger you are with the Scouts so that you don't have to pay for parking.
