About the staff

	. Canada Director and Gr. 6, 7, 8 English and Social Studies teacher. AISL strives to optimize the potential of each and every student on an individual basis. The school provides an atmosphere that fosters academic, personal and social development. These areas receive a great deal of attention and are advanced using a plethora of strategies.
	Bob Pinto Togo High School U. of Nebraska Program / Middle School Math I am truly blessed to be working with such a lovely school, which has a multicultural family spirit and where constant and consistent individual attention is given to students. I am so proud that almost all of our graduates from the HS program have been admitted to European or American colleges and universities. I think that AISL-Lome is really the place to be.
	. Canada Grades 3, 4 and 5 I am pleased to teach in a class of nine students where I can challenge each student to reach their maximum potential. I bring a wealth of experience from Canada and other overseas schools.
	. USA Grades K-2 It is a joy to teach here at AISL. The students come from a diverse variety of countries and cultures, making this a rich and unique learning community to be a part of. The inter-cultural sharing and learning as well as the openness and acceptance of all people that I witness here is inspiring and heartwarming.
	Miss Ola Togo Preschool It's great fun working with 3 and 4 year old children. The children are always willing to learn, play, and work due to the enriching environment with all the educational facilities available.
	Boukari Kagnassim (Mr Kent) Togo Physical Education, Pre-School-12 Students love to come to my physical education classes because they learn grace, speed, and endurance. Students at AISL learn to play life-long sports in a program that promotes good sportsmanship and playing by the rules.
	Aliti Akiliesso Togo Art teacher I enjoy teaching art at AISL because I think the students are very interesting and friendly. When students come to my art class it is a learning experience that appeals to all students. AISL attract students who are serious about their studies and who enjoy their creative side. During art class students can express their feeling through art and their love of life.
	Mr. Robert Nigeria Middle School Science A professional engineer by trade, Mr. Rober is embarking in his true calling in life: being a teacher. Aside from enriching science lessons, students can be seen intensly debating such issues as "are scientists to blame for the problems in the world today."
	Madam Roger, Mali French classes, Gr. K to 12 Although Togo is a French speaking country, many of our students come with French communication abilities ranging from beginner to advanced. Madam Roger brings meaningful lessons to all her students.
	Miss. Jennifer Canada E.S.L. There's something about Miss Jennifer that will soon have newcomers to English conversing eagerly with all those strange new sounds!
	Miss Ingela Sweeden Music The music program has returned to A.I.S.L. in all its grand melodious ways!
	Aziadou Essi Togo Teacher assistant I like working in A.I.S.L. because of the familiarity and the harmony between the students and the teachers. The morning assemblies and the various life stories told by individuals make the school one big family.
	John Eklu Togo Office Manager When you phone the school, chances are this is who you will hear answering the phone. This is who organizes the files, makes sure supplies are available, organizes lunches, and who is responsible for all non-teaching staff.
	Our accountant makes sure everything money-wise adds up just right.
