Air pollution is very serious in Hong Kong. Hong Kong is consistently failing to meet its own statutory health standards, particularly for fine particulates, known as Respirable Suspended Particulates (RSP).
Only one of these monitoring stations, In Mong Kok, was at street level. The level of RSP was 50% higher than the health standard and higher than the average concentration in Taipei, Tokyo, Los Angeles, London and New York .
A Government study of street level air pollution in Causeway Bay showed levels of more than 200% above the annual limits .
The highest points in
December within 4 years in three particular places
(The reasons that we chose
December are it is the month which have the highest point during a year. We also
think that the places that we chose have serious air pollution problems.)

From the statistic, we can see that Causeway Bay is the place where have highest pollution rate, especially in December. We must do something to avoid the air pollution problem, otherwise the problem will become more serious.
