VS

Tonight we continued our clanbase TDM assault with our match against CJB, our map being Carentan and theres Neuville. We started our map as the allies and used the tried and tested strategy of taking and jolding the MG house. To our luck we spawned by the MG house but soon found that if we kept together we could push them from pillar to post, we took the first round with an impressive 211 - 143 lead. There turn to push us around as the allies but to our and probably there surprise we held our own, with a lot of Thompson fire flying around we had trouble holding any position so ended up having to pull back a little for the distance kills and grenade throws, a close match with CJB taking this round 196 - 208. There map this time and we started as allies on Neuville, there tactic on this map to hold one possition at the south end of the map with a couple of rile men to take us from a distance, but once again with this map being made up mainly of close combat encounters the mighty Thompson won out and we took this round 188 - 147. We thought for the last round that due to this being there map and them being allies that they would claw back some of the distance between the scores. To our credit though we held our ground well and once we had grouped up we managed to force them back, they held some positions in houses but with a bit of grenade work they soon shifted, CJB managed to scrape a win 173 - 180. Overall a win the the 1stBA 768 - 678 putting us into 54th place on the ladder, thanks to CJB for a friendly match and well done to the lads that played.
