As many of you already know, Air Angels is no longer affiliated with Memorial Hospital in South Bend. Our 5 year contract with them has expired and Memorial has decided to pursue a different route by having their own helicopter. Contrary to the rumors that representitives of Memorial Hospital are spreading, Air Angels is active and flying in Northwest Indiana and is proud to be sponsored in Indiana by St. Mary's Hospital in Hobart, IN. Any news you might hear to the contrary is false and should be regarded as poor competitive business practice in an attempt to pump up their own flight program and downplay Air Angels. Air Angels chooses not to stoop to these poor business practices and continues to work closely with all air and ground EMS agencies in an effort to enhance patient care.
