"Allerseelen are the ice on the cake, so to speak. having gone through a variety of music styles and approaches, seamlessly integrating with each other through the night, Allerseelen are a most natural wrap up for the event. Not subscribing to any specific genre, Gerhard, aided by powerful martial drummers, carries on a thick performance whose only fault was that of being on so late. Allerseelen dominate their slot. The show was in all respects a powerful one and a right coronation. It offered an astounding line-up that is to remain memorable for Hinoeuma and those who attended." www.darklife.de

"From the humble beginnings of obscure cassette-only underground releases in the late ‘80s, Allerseelen have gone on to produce some of the most adventurous and innovative industrial music of the past 15 years. Allerseelen’s mainstay used to go by the Qabalistic moniker of Kadmon – these days, he’s simply Gerhard. When we meet, Gerhard is ebullient and outgoing. With his khaki fatigues, shaved head and rimless glasses, he endearingly resembles Private Joker from Full Metal Jacket. His well-stocked mind is evident, though, and our conversation ranges over Pre-Raphaelite painting, the Visigoth invasions of Spain and silent cinema, in between explanations of Allerseelen’s current activities."

"By this time, things are seriously behindhand. Allerseelen’s set finishes at 2.45 a.m. with only a hardy remnant of audience remaining, but Gerhard, the band’s presiding genius, displays incredible energy, given the lateness of the hour. He cavorts around the stage like a man with a goodly amount of drink inside him, and is clearly having a fine old time (in fact, he later tells me that his drummers have been plying him with Hungarian paprika schnapps). I’m reluctant to lay all the blame on the demon drink, but Gerhard boisterously bellows out every song, while the undeniably powerful rhythm section often overwhelms the loop-and-sample backing music. I’ve waited years to see Allerseelen, and it was a great evening in general, but it does seem to me that, tonight at least, the live version of Allerseelen fails to reflect the subtlety of the studio work."

ZERO TOLERANCE is a beautiful and unique almost book-like magazine from Great Britain. It is basically a metal magazine but also features apocalyptic folk, as industrial folklore or kinky marching music. Edition  30.000. Highly recommended.
