Allerseelen - London

11.IV.2003

On April 11th MMIII, Allerseelen performed live at Red Rose, 129 Seven Sisters Road, London. The other groups performing the same evening were Seventh Harmonic, While Angels Watch and Solanas-Solanas. The concerts were organized by Gaya Donadio. Allerseelen performed some new and unreleased songs - two cover versions, Storms of Steel by Blood Axis and Als wärs das letzte Mal by Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft. They also played the new song Wir rufen Deine Wölfe which will be published in summer/autumn on the Aorta LP and CD anthology Wir rufen Deine Wölfe. Again the two Allerseelen drummers impressed with their perfection, their unique balance of discipline and passion on stage. I especially enjoyed on stage Seventh Harmonic with their great union of female voice and bass and violin and other instruments.

Again there was enough time to visit some beautiful places in London, the black obelisk Cleopatra´s needle, the Walbrook Mithras temple in Queen Victoria Street which was excavated in 1954. Hazelnut coffees, walnut cakes, beautiful Fräuleinwunders reminding of Unity Mitford, the colourful houses in Soho. It was also good to meet again Nick of Lady Morphia and Richard of Ostara. I was glad to discover in Cecil Court and Charring Cross Road some great books on my beloved Pre-Raphaelites, on standing stones and stone circles, on the pagan dream of the Renaissance. Thanks to Gaya Donadio for all the great evenings and everything.
