Dampak Kebijakan Energi Terhadap Perekonomian Nasional: Model Komputasi Keseimbangan Umum
(Impact of Energy Policy on National Economy: Computable General Equilibrium Model) 

Abstract

Energy has very important role in national economic development of Indonesia. As the increasing of national economic, the energy demand is also increasing. To fulfill the demand, the energy resources both fossil energy (oil, gas, and coal) and renewable energy (hydropower and geothermal) resources needs to be developed. However, the resource of fossil energy especially oil is going to limited, therefore, energy policy for oil diversification needs to be implemented. In the energy policy, utilization of alternative energy such as renewable energy is also need to be implemented. In the development of energy alternative, CGE model can be used for evaluating the impacts of energy diversification on the economic development. The model was developed based on Hosoe model by considering energy sector that added by recursived dynamic mechanism. Capital and labour growth is considered in the dynamic mechanism. The research uses Indonesian Social Accounting Matrix (SAM) for model calibration. Some sector in the SAM have been modified by conducting sector aggregated and disaggregated that suitable to the research objected.
